A plane loaded with asylum seekers landed in Nauru; they had landed in crocodile-filled waters north of Broome in Western Australia, evading authorities

The Refugee Action Coalition says there is no future for the asylum seekers still on Nauru, following a funding deal for the Regional Processing Centre reached with Australia; of 93 transferred, 4 have been granted refugee status, 89 are still in progress

The head of the Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Programme by Investment hopes the initiative will bring tens of millions of dollars to the island this year and has received the first two applications
