"Let's give a home to returning birds and wings to Ukrainian soldiers fighting" is the motto of a campaign to support Ukraine, bringing together Latvians and Lithuanians to raise funds for drones by painting birdhouses

The infrastructure design of the Kaunas passenger station area will be carried out by Spanish company Ardanuy Ingenieria under a contract worth 9,88 million euros; the project is an integral part of the new European Rail Baltica Kaunas node

The country will buy 3.000 drones for Ukraine and allocate €15 million for rehabilitation programs for the wounded; it will also allocate €5 million for education and €12 million to help veterans, rebuild schools and kindergartens, and organize shelters
